The City of Mount Vernon will collaborate with the Youth Shelter Program of Westchester, Inc., and other community partners to host "Peace with a Purpose" Wednesday, June 7, 2023, from 3:30 PM - 6:30 PM at City Hall Plaza. We ask all attendees to wear orange as we denounce violence to kick off Gun Violence Prevention Month.
The event will feature discussions led by youth leaders about taking a stand and providing resources for building connections within the community.
