Communities of Color GOTV Rally for Hochul-Delgado Democratic Team.


Lieutenant Governor Antonio Delgado will be the keynote speaker at a special GOTV Democratic Rally for Communities of Color throughout Westchester, the Bronx and the Hudson Valley on Wednesday afternoon in downtown Mount Vernon. The rally will feature a wide range of Democratic groups, activists, religious leaders, organized labor, and the business community. 


The goal is to supercharge turnout among the bedrock base of the Democratic Party in support of Governor Hochul, Lt. Gov. Delgado and the full Democratic slate. The event is co-chaired by Mount Vernon Mayor Shawyn Patterson-Howard and Westchester Deputy County Executive Ken Jenkins. The rally will kick-off indoors at 1:30 on Wednesday, November 2, at 22 East 1st Street in Mount Vernon. (Doors open at noon for media set-up).

The Department of Planning and Community Development has officially launched OpenGov. OpenGov is a user-friendly cloud-based software. It will provide online applications from the Planning Board, Zoning Board of Appeals and Architecture Review board and allow applicants to track their status. All applications through the Department of Planning & Community Development will be online only after April 30, 2023.

There will be an emergency no parking in effect  in the vicinity of S.Columbus Avenue and E. Sandford Boulevard between the hours of 9 pm - 5 am for road paving. In effect evening of October 28th into the morning of October 29th.
