We have a Winter Weather Advisory in effect from this evening into Tuesday morning’s commute. Temperatures of mid to low 30s and wet snow of 2 to 6 inches are expected this evening.

Snowfall amounts for the NYC/NJ metro are most uncertain and will depend on the intensity of snowfall at the onset. Due to this, we advise that you stay off the roads if possible.

Please remember to make sure all of your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors are functioning properly, that your home and care emergency evacuation plans and kits are up to date, and that you keep up with the storm with your local weather station.

There will be two community conversations around the comprehensive plan on Saturday, February 25th, 2023. The first will be hosted at the Portuguese American Club located at 130 E. Prospect Ave and delivered in Portuguese. This session will begin at 10:30 AM. The second session will be hosted at Church of ST. Mary & Our Lady of MT. Carmel located at 23 S. High Street and delivered in Spanish. This session begins at 1 pm.

Memorial Field will officially open the Track on Saturday, February 18th for walking and running activities everyday from 6am-10am and 5pm-8pm except during special events.

Additionally, the Skatepark will be open from 10am-8pm everyday except during inclement weather and special events.
