We are proud to present Mount Vernon United Tenants with a check for $43,000 to support their tenant organizing and tenant advocacy operations.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Mount Vernon United Tenants helped dozens of residents complete the Emergency Rental Assistance Application. They also conducted tenant rights workshops.
We provided grant support to Mount Vernon United Tenants so they could hire a bilingual tenant organizer to help organize buildings that have history of code violations.
