Mount Vernon Insider: City of Mount Vernon: City Hall will host the County Clerk's Community Outreach Mobile Office on Wednesday, July 19 for passport services.
City Hall will host the Westchester County Clerk's Community Outreach Mobile Office on Wednesday, July 19, from 10 am - 1 pm for passport services. To apply, bring proof of U.S. citizenship (birth certificate, consular report, or naturalization certificate) and proof of identity (driver's license or government I.D.).
What to bring: If your Adult passport is expired OVER 5 years, you can apply with us by bringing your old passport. If your passport expired UNDER 5 years, you must renew by mail with a DS-82 application. For minors under 16, both parents should appear together and sign the child's application. If only one parent appears and signs, that parent must submit the other parent's notarized Statement of Consent form (DS-3053) and a photocopy of their identification. The Statement of Consent form can be found at www.WestchesterClerk.com. Renewal applications (DS-82) must be mailed to the U.S. Department of State.
Fees: The adult passport fee is $130, and the minor fee is $100. An additional $35.00 service fee can be paid by credit card, money order, or check payable to the Westchester County Clerk. You can get a 2x2 photo taken at the Mobile Office for $10 ($7 for seniors). For more information, call 995-3082 or visit www.WestchesterClerk.com.
You can also benefit from free notary services by presenting a valid photo identification card. In addition, you can file your business certificate for a fee of $35, which can be paid through credit card, money order, or check payable to the Westchester County Clerk.
Lastly, the Office of the County Clerk preserves military discharge papers. You can entrust your DD-214 to the County Clerk as a secure and accessible repository. A copy of your DD-214 will be made, and you can keep the original as the Clerk keeps the file.
